OUR FACILITIES

Since 2006 Happy Tails Country Club has been providing Asheville and the surrounding areas with unparalleled pet care through knowledge, compassion, and a dedication to quality. The Happy Tails staff are a friendly and experienced group of devoted dog lovers, many of whom have been with Happy Tails since it opened. Our managers have over 60 years combined dog experience and we pride ourselves in not only the quality of care we provide your pets but also in the love and affection shown all of our “members” as individuals.

HAPPY TAILS WEST

Located on 4 scenic, wooded acres at the intersection of Sardis and Sand Hill Roads in West Asheville, Happy Tails West continues our tradition of quality pet care.  Along with all of our previously offered services, HTCC West features state of the art play and rest areas as well as basic bathing services.  Our clubhouse features 52 Mason Company suites in three different sizes, and three different styles.  Nine Luxury suites are specialty built with extra room, soundproofed walls and doors and are equipped with live streaming cameras.  In our Solo Play section four suites have attached outdoor runs with a separate play yard for dogs who cannot be social due to injury, illness, or behavioral issues.  Like our flagship location, Happy Tails West has three different indoor and outdoor play spaces to accommodate dogs of different sizes and personalities.

  • 2040 Sand Hill Rd Ext. Candler, NC 28715 (for some GPS systems the Service Master address located at the bottom of our road is more efficient: 1150 Sand Hill Rd. Candler, NC 28715)

  • Turn on Sardis Rd (NC 112) and drive for 2.5 miles. Happy Tails West will be on your left, after the used car lot and directly behind Service Master. Turn into the Service Master driveway and follow the drive back into the wooded area.

  • Turn on Sand Hill Rd (NC 112) and drive for 1.4 miles. Happy Tails West will be on your right, after Southeastern Container and directly behind Service Master. Turn into the Service Master driveway and follow the drive back into the wooded area.

HAPPY TAILS EAST

Happy Tails Country Club East is located in the Fletcher/Fairview area on 8 acres of former pasture land, bounded by tree-lined Cane Creek in the back. We have a 4,000 square foot Clubhouse that offers 50 Suites in 3 different sizes to accommodate small, medium & large dogs for overnight boarding. Each suite is furnished with a high quality, off-the ground soft bed made by Kuranda. We have 3 large outdoor play areas totaling 10,000 square feet for your dog to run and play with their buddies, sniff and explore, take a dip in the wading pools or simply lounge in the sun.

  • Take I-240 E to exit 9 for US-74 E. Continue 7.1 miles on 74, then turn right on Cane Creek Rd. HTCC East will be on your left in 1.5 miles.

  • Take I-26 W toward Asheville. Take exit 44 onto US-25 N toward Fletcher, turning right onto Asheville Highway. After 2.5 miles turn right onto Cane Creek Rd. Follow Cane Creek Rd. for 5 miles to HTCC East on your right.

Typical Daily Schedule

  • All daycare and boarding dogs are out freely interacting in their assigned sections

  • All daycare and boarding dogs go up into individual suites or crates for a rest break and are fed lunch

  • All boarding dogs are let out individually for a final bathroom break before going up for the night
